- I started, as most in this hobby seem to have started, modelling armor when I was young. Later in life I decided to get back to modelling. I attended my first figure show in Atlanta in 1994 and have been attending shows regularly ever since. If you have never attended a figure show, I would highly recommend doing so. It's through this wonderful hobby that I've been fortunate enough to meet great and talented people from all over the world and have made many new friends in the process. These days, I always attend my local show here in Atlanta, GA as well as making the annual trek to my hometown of Chicago for the MMSI Show each October. I enjoy figure painting from all eras and also sculpting my own original busts. I have been fortunate enough to have some of my busts produced by great companies such as Pegaso Models, Adalbertus of Poland, United Empire Miniatures and The Lost Battalion. Very nice Matt, great color choices and the tat is coming along nicely. I'm looking forward to seeing how you handle some of the other details as well. This is a real departure from what I normally see you doing but as you said, that is the point of the exercise. ~Jim
