Finished....

I never thought I'd say this, but I'm really tired of looking at Jennifer Garner! It's been a while on this one, but I decided to perservere and do everything I could to get the likeness down. Did I? I'm not sure about that, but it's the best I can do on her right now. Learning to sculpt a female face is hard, but then trying to make it look like someone specific...that's thr real challenge. I'm taking what I learned on this one and applying it to my next project. I must remember not to "rush to the surface" on these portraits. This one will be appearing as a resin kit for release soon. More info later...........

Hancock 1/8

More detail going on in this sculpt. Included is a nice pic of Hancock wearing his hat that I'm trying to recreate. He was also said to have worn his undress frock coat at Gettysburg with the collar open and top buttons done while open at the bottom. Another interesting note: Hancock's tendency for the profane idiom on the battlefield. Quite the colorful character...
