Yeah! He's finally done. I had a great time sculpting this one for Randy. I'm looking forward to seeing him painted. Next up...Randy on the brushes!

Czar Nicholas Painting Update..

Here are few more pics of the face after a bit more work done today. Most of the highlights are in and I've started adding some tones in the cheeks and eye area and the first shadow layers. This one is a challenge!

Czar Nicholas Painting

Just started painting the boxart for a future Michael Miniatures bust. This one is Czar Nicholas in 1/9th scale. It's a bit larger size which will demand even smoother transitions. Just starting the face with the first couple of highlighting steps done so far. Much to do....

12-15 Update

More Progress 12-14

Here is another update on Santa Ana. I've started the epaulettes from two round discs of sheet plastic with putty underneath to support the fringe detail that will be added later. I've also lowered the hairline a touch and done some work to the mouth area that I now like a bit better. Of course, the lace work continues.....
