Taxi Driver Bust Now Available....

My portrait bust of the "Taxi Driver" is now available as an unpainted kit. The piece made it's big debut in Girona at World Expo 2008. See the Pegaso Models website for more information or visit an authorized Pegaso retailer near you!

Here is the boxart painted by Italian Master, Pietro Baloni.

Here is a picture of the bust I found on display at the Pegaso stand at World Expo. It's on the top shelf in the middle. See it?
I'm very proud to have realized a bust for Pegaso Models. I've admired their quality for many years and am thrilled to see my name on one of their boxes. They have also purchased the master for my Arapaho bust that I sculpted last year. There are pics here on my blog if you search back in the older projects. I hope to see that one released soon. Maybe at EuroMilitaire?
Thanks for visiting my site!

New Portrait Sculpt Started

Here are some very rough shots of the beginning of a new portrait bust commission. A cigar to whomever guesses who this one is! Here's a hint, French & short. This is how most of my projects begin in this rough "Fleshing out" stage. Just working on the volumes or shapes very loosely until they are right before adding the finer features. 250mm.

Thanks for looking!

Hi! Welcome back to my site. Thanks for dropping by!

Here are some pictures of my Washington bust that I've finally started painting. This one will be at the Chicago Show in October. Acrylics as always! Thanks!

Crusader

Here's another 250mm bust that I'm getting close to finishing. This one is for a new manufacturer. More details soon. Still working on the cape and folds on the tunic. The heraldric design is being sculpted as a seperate piece so the painter will be able to use it or paint it up with whatever paint theme they'd like. I hope you can see the film inspiration for this piece. This bust and a few other will be the subjects of my seminar at this year's Chicago Show on sculpting personality busts.
