Update....

Interesting bust, Matt. Very nice facial features too. The eyes are already looking very expressive.
Working with acrylics, it must be a daunting task to get nicely blended skintones on such a large canvas.
I am intrigued by the black washes you have partially applied. Why is that?

Thanks, Johan. I first painted the skin in acrylics and shaded and highlighted with the acrylics. I then finished with some layers of oil paint to add depth and smooth some of the transitions. Thanks for the comments! The black areas are just rough applications of black acrylic that acts as a primer. I was too lazy to properly prime her.
